Chrysoprase — The stone of quiet optimism
For staying hopeful without needing proof yet.
Chrysoprase is chalcedony coloured a distinctive apple green by traces of nickel, and it's been prized since antiquity — legend holds it was among the stones set into Alexander the Great's belt, and it was used extensively in the eighteenth century to decorate the Chapel of St Wenceslas in Prague, sourced from Silesian deposits that have since been largely exhausted. Most of what's available today comes from Australia.
Its colour is genuinely rare in the mineral world — few stones achieve that particular fresh, light green without leaning yellow or blue.
Chrysoprase is worked with for optimism and quiet emotional renewal — a gentler, brighter cousin of green aventurine. It sits with the heart.
Sheri chooses every piece by hand, cleanses it, and charges it before it's packed here on the Gold Coast.
Colour can fade in strong heat or sun — keep it out of direct light for long periods.
