Tektite is natural glass, formed the same way moldavite is — a meteorite impact violent enough to melt surrounding rock, fling it skyward, and let it cool mid-air before falling back to earth. Unlike moldavite's green, most tektite is black to dark brown, and it's found across several separate strewn fields worldwide, from Southeast Asia's large Australasian field to smaller deposits in North America.

Its surface is often etched and pitted, shaped by friction as it fell back through the atmosphere at enormous speed.

Tektite is worked with for rapid shifts in perspective and adapting quickly to sudden change. It sits with the third eye and crown.
