Palo Santo — The wood that only gives once it has fallen
For clearing that leaves something sweet behind.
Palo santo is aromatic wood from Bursera graveolens, a tree native to the dry coastal forests of Ecuador, Peru and other parts of South America. Its name means holy wood in Spanish, and it's been burned for centuries in South American healing and cleansing traditions, valued for a warm, sweet, slightly citrus scent unlike the sharper smoke of sage.
Ethical palo santo only comes from trees that have died naturally and been left on the forest floor for several years before harvesting — the wood needs that resting period to develop its aromatic oils fully. Trees cut down while still alive don't carry the same scent, and doing so damages a species already under pressure from demand, which is why sourcing matters here as much as it does with sage.
Palo santo is worked with for cleansing and for inviting in something positive once the clearing is done, rather than clearing alone — a gentler, sweeter companion to sage's sharper reset. It's used before rather than during, a preparation rather than the main event.
Sheri chooses every stick by hand, and it's packed here on the Gold Coast.

Pairs well with
White Sage · Selenite · Clear Quartz
Care
Store somewhere dry. Light the tip, let it burn a few seconds, then blow out — it should smoulder and release smoke, not stay in flame.
Satya Positive Vibes - The scent that clears a room without saying a word
For a home that could use a lighter mood.
Satya is made by Shrinivas Sugandhalaya in Bangalore, India, the same family workshop behind Nag Champa, one of the best-known incense blends in the world. Positive Vibes takes that same sandalwood base and lifts it with jasmine, rose and other florals, hand-rolled onto a bamboo core by artisans working in a tradition passed down through generations rather than mass-produced by machine.
Each stick burns for around 45 minutes, releasing a soft, sweet fragrance without the sharper edge some incense carries - closer to a warm room than a temple.
Positive Vibes is worked with for lifting the mood of a space and easing into a calmer state before meditation, yoga or simply the end of a long day. It's used to fill a room rather than clear it - a companion to sage and palo santo rather than a substitute for either.
Sheri chooses this range by hand, and it's packed here on the Gold Coast.
