Rhodonite — The stone of second chances
For forgiving something, including yourself.
Rhodonite is a manganese silicate, pink to rose-red and typically threaded with black veins of manganese oxide that formed as the stone weathered. Russia's Ural Mountains produced some of the finest historical material, used extensively in Imperial-era Russian architecture and ornament — including, famously, in the decoration of Saint Petersburg's palaces. Its name comes from Greek rhodon, rose.
The black veining isn't a flaw; it's part of what collectors look for, the contrast making the pink stand out more sharply.
Rhodonite is worked with for forgiveness and emotional balance — closely tied to healing after conflict, whether with someone else or with yourself. It sits with the heart.
Sheri chooses every piece by hand, cleanses it, and charges it before it's packed here on the Gold Coast.
