Quantum Quattro — Five minerals, one stone

A single deposit, and no longer mined.

Quantum Quattro is a naturally occurring combination of five minerals: shattuckite, dioptase, malachite, chrysocolla and smoky quartz. It came from one mine in Namibia, and that source is closed — everything on the market now is from material already above ground.

The colours tell you what's there: deep blue shattuckite, emerald dioptase, banded green malachite, turquoise chrysocolla, all held in smoky quartz. In a good piece you can identify all five with a loupe.

It's worked with for emotional healing and for what people describe as clearing at several levels at once — the reasoning being that five minerals do five things. It sits with the heart and throat.
