Lemurian Quartz — The crystal with lines you can read
For a deliberate practice rather than a collection.
Lemurian quartz is recognised by the horizontal striations running across its faces, like rungs on a ladder. They're a natural growth feature — the crystal grew in stages, and each pause left a line — and running a thumb slowly across them is part of how people work with these stones.
They were first found in the 1990s in the Serra do Cabral in Brazil, lying loose in sand rather than attached to a matrix, which is unusual and part of how the name and the mythology attached. The story is that they were seeded by a lost civilisation. The geology is that they weathered out of their host rock.
Lemurian quartz is worked with for deep meditation and for what people describe as remembering rather than learning. It sits with the crown.
Sheri chooses every piece by hand, cleanses it, and charges it before it's packed here on the Gold Coast.
Usually kept as one working piece, not several.
