Lodolite is clear quartz that grew around other minerals — chlorite, hematite, and various clays — trapping them inside as inclusions that read like tiny underwater landscapes: mossy greens, rust-coloured drifts, sometimes what look like tiny mountains or gardens suspended in clear crystal. Most comes from Brazil, and no two pieces contain anything close to the same scene.

It's also known as garden quartz or shaman stone in parts of the trade, names that lean into the same landscape-in-a-crystal quality.

Lodolite is worked with for deep inner reflection — a meditation stone people spend long stretches simply looking into rather than holding. It sits with the third eye and crown.
