Fire quartz is clear or milky quartz grown through or coated with fine hematite, giving it a warm, fiery orange-red glow that shifts depending on the light and the angle. The colour is entirely due to iron oxide, either included within the crystal structure or layered across its surface as it formed.

It's often sold alongside plain hematite and carnelian as a natural bridge between the two — quartz's clarity carrying hematite's weight and warmth.

Fire quartz is worked with for steady drive and grounded ambition — less an explosive push than a coal that keeps burning. It sits with the root and solar plexus.
