Druzy — The stone that wears its own stardust
For a little extra shimmer on something already good.
Druzy isn't a mineral in its own right — it's a formation, a fine crust of tiny crystal points growing across the surface of another stone, catching the light like a dusting of glitter. It forms when mineral-rich water fills a cavity and crystallises against the walls in one final, delicate layer, which is why druzy is so often found lining the inside of agate and geodes.
Because it's a growth habit rather than a single mineral, druzy turns up across many different stones — amethyst, citrine, agate and quartz all form their own druzy, each carrying that stone's usual properties underneath the sparkle. Occasionally a piece is coated with a fine metallic vapour, the same process used for aura quartz, which pushes the iridescence even further.
Druzy is worked with as an amplifier with a lighter touch — whatever the host stone already does, softened and brightened by the sparkle layered over it. It sits with the crown, or with whichever centre the host stone favours.
Sheri chooses every piece by hand, cleanses it, and charges it before it's packed here on the Gold Coast.
The surface is delicate — handle it by the base rather than the crystal face.

Clear Quartz · Amethyst · Selenite
Care
Delicate crystal surface — avoid rubbing the face and keep away from water. Cleanse with smoke or sound.
Heulandite — The stone of the long view
A zeolite, and a quiet one.
Heulandite grows in tabular crystals — flat, coffin-shaped plates — in peach, green, white and grey, usually alongside stilbite and apophyllite in the same Indian volcanic cavities. It's named for John Henry Heuland, a nineteenth-century mineral dealer.
Like all zeolites its structure is full of channels, which is what makes the family useful industrially for filtering and softening water.
Heulandite is worked with for perspective and for what people describe as accessing older knowledge — it has a reputation as a meditation stone rather than a carrying stone. It sits with the third eye and crown.

Delicate. Keep it somewhere it won't be knocked.
