Copper — The stone that carries the current
For energy that needs somewhere to actually go.
Copper is one of the few metals that occurs naturally in its pure, native form — no smelting required — which is exactly why it was among the first metals humans ever worked. Evidence of copper tools and ornaments dates back roughly ten thousand years, well before bronze or iron, and the period is named for it: the Chalcolithic, the Copper Age. Some of the largest native copper masses ever found came out of Michigan's Keweenaw Peninsula, pieces heavy enough to require a crane.
Left exposed to air and moisture, copper's bright metallic surface slowly weathers into the same blue-green minerals sold as malachite and azurite — those two stones are, in a sense, copper's future.
Copper is worked with as a conductor — a stone understood to carry and direct energy rather than generate it, which is why it's often placed alongside other crystals to strengthen what they're already doing. It sits with the sacral and works well as a base for grids.
Sheri chooses every piece by hand, cleanses it, and charges it before it's packed here on the Gold Coast.
Will develop a natural patina over time — polish with a soft cloth if you prefer to keep the bright shine.
