Calcite — The stone of gentle clearing
For a stretch that's been heavy, and needs to move again.
Calcite comes in more colours than almost any other mineral — orange, honey, blue, green, optical clear — and each carries its own character. What they share is softness. Calcite scratches with a copper coin, forms in rounded shapes rather than sharp points, and fizzes if you put acid on it.
Optical calcite has a trick worth knowing: look through a clear piece at a line of text and you'll see it doubled. That's double refraction, and it's why Viking navigators may have used it as a sunstone to locate the sun through cloud.
Calcite is worked with for clearing stagnant energy and for renewal — less about force, more about letting things move again. Which chakra it sits with depends on colour: orange for the sacral, honey for the solar plexus, blue for the throat, green for the heart.
Sheri chooses every piece by hand, cleanses it, and charges it before it's packed here on the Gold Coast.

Pairs well with
Clear Quartz · Selenite · Citrine
Care
Soft and easily scratched. Avoid water — calcite dissolves in acidic water and loses its polish. Cleanse with smoke or sound.
Citrine — The stone of abundance
For the person building something.
Citrine is quartz warmed to gold by traces of iron. Natural citrine is far rarer than most people realise — the bright orange stone sold everywhere is usually heat-treated amethyst. True citrine tends toward smoky honey and pale champagne, and the colour sits unevenly through the crystal rather than in a uniform band.
It's been called the merchant's stone for centuries, kept in tills and cash boxes on the belief it drew trade. Whether or not you hold with that, the association has stuck: citrine is the crystal of manifestation and momentum.
It's worked with when you want to attract rather than protect, to begin rather than settle. It sits with the solar plexus and sacral — the centres of personal power and creative drive.

Traditionally kept where money moves. Practically, keep it where you work.

Care
Colour can fade in strong direct sunlight. Water is safe. Cleanse with smoke, sound or moonlight.
Druzy — The stone that wears its own stardust
For a little extra shimmer on something already good.
Druzy isn't a mineral in its own right — it's a formation, a fine crust of tiny crystal points growing across the surface of another stone, catching the light like a dusting of glitter. It forms when mineral-rich water fills a cavity and crystallises against the walls in one final, delicate layer, which is why druzy is so often found lining the inside of agate and geodes.
Because it's a growth habit rather than a single mineral, druzy turns up across many different stones — amethyst, citrine, agate and quartz all form their own druzy, each carrying that stone's usual properties underneath the sparkle. Occasionally a piece is coated with a fine metallic vapour, the same process used for aura quartz, which pushes the iridescence even further.
Druzy is worked with as an amplifier with a lighter touch — whatever the host stone already does, softened and brightened by the sparkle layered over it. It sits with the crown, or with whichever centre the host stone favours.

The surface is delicate — handle it by the base rather than the crystal face.
