Brookite — The stone of forward motion

For momentum that's already quietly underway.

Brookite is a form of titanium dioxide — one of three natural crystal structures the compound can take, alongside rutile and anatase — and it typically appears as small reddish-brown to black crystals, often perched on or included within clear quartz points. It's named for Henry James Brooke, the English mineralogist who first described it in the 1820s.

It's genuinely uncommon in well-formed crystals, which is part of why pieces with visible brookite crystals on quartz are handled as something a little more specialised than a plain point.

Brookite is worked with for forward motion — less a dramatic push, more the sense that something is already moving and just needs to be trusted. It sits with the crown and third eye.

Sheri chooses every piece by hand, cleanses it, and charges it before it's packed here on the Gold Coast.
