Anandalite — The stone of quiet joy
For a meditation practice that wants a bit of shimmer in it.
Anandalite is a druzy quartz from a single region in Odisha, India, coated in a natural rainbow iridescence caused by trace minerals across its surface — no two clusters catch the light quite the same way. It's a relatively recent name in the crystal world, given by dealers in the 2000s from the Sanskrit ananda, meaning bliss, rather than an official mineralogical term.
It sits alongside natural quartz clusters as one of the few forms of druzy that shows this rainbow effect without any treatment or coating added afterward.
Anandalite is worked with as an all-purpose amplifier with an emphasis on joy — quartz's usual clarity, with something lighter layered over it. It sits with all centres.
Sheri chooses every piece by hand, cleanses it, and charges it before it's packed here on the Gold Coast.
The druzy surface is delicate — keep it somewhere it won't be knocked.
